This home is one of the oldest in Sandhurst and has been revamped by the architect Rowland Watermeyer with style and very clever details.
Large rolling lawns from the pool on the top level to a cottage and private garden down on the lower level. We used the original gates as a feature. Brought in large trees to screen off the massive house next door and this has worked well.
The veggie garden has been a highlight as this charming American client is a passionate cook and brings wonderful seeds and ideas in from her family home in Maine. The use of colour has been subtle and gentle as she is not keen on the usual ‘English Garden’ type garden. Sarah Watermeyer (sister to Rowland) has been assisting with the décor.
