Saxonwold

There are times when you are given carte blanche to create a garden that you feel would suit the home owner and the architecture and this was just such a garden.

I designed it into several ‘rooms’ each with a different aspect. The formality of the entrance to the pleached Viburnum Senensis, the Eugenia 20 meter tunnel into a woodland garden and back through the picking garden/croquet lawn. The pool area is enclosed by hedges and wooden doors which allows for private swimming and there is even a small veggie garden. Working with clients that allow you to create freely, is truly and honour and a pleasure. I had such fun doing this garden. It took time to develop but it finally has proved to be a happy and rewarding garden.
